Terms and Conditions

DCJA Consultancy  is a trading name of Beinit Ltd whose Registered Office is at Heathland, Sandy Way, Shorwell, Isle of Wight,

Booking Procedure
To register on a training course, please complete the online booking form.

Booking Confirmation
Once we have processed your booking, we will send you a confirmation email with an invoice.

Payment
All fees for the training course must be paid in full with return of this form. Confirmation of receipt of
Registration form and payment will be made by email. Payment must be received within 21 days of the invoice date or in advance of the training course whichever is sooner.

Payment can be made by:
• BACS to Beinit Ltd, Barclays Bank, sort code 20-84-58, account number 50909718
• Cheque made payable to: Beinit Ltd

Fee Guidance
All DCJA Consultancy courses listed in the programme are subject to VAT at the appropriate rate. Course fees include all relevant course materials, refreshments, lunch, bed and breakfast accommodation and full use of all adventure activity equipment.

Special Requirements
DCJA Consultancy will make every effort to accommodate special requirements that have been notified on the booking form.

Cancelling your place
No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 28 working days before the start of the course. If you notify DCJA Consultancy in writing or via email at least 28 working days before the start date of the course, you will receive a full refund less an administration fee of 20% (plus VAT). If you withdraw for whatever reason within the 28 working day period, the full fee will remain payable if you are unable to nominate a substitute attendee.

Non-attendance
If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked and have not given prior notice to the DCJA Consultancy then the course fee will remain payable in full.

Cancellation by DCJA Consultancy
Where circumstances dictate, DCJA Consultancy reserves the right to alter published programmes, trainers, fees or venues without prior notice. In the event of a course being cancelled, a refund of the course fee will be made but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred.

Dress code
Smart Casual and you will require bringing swimming and sports clothing. DCJA Consultancy will provide all other equipment required i.e. wet suits, buoyancy aids etc.

Liability
This booking form and the references therein constitutes a legally binding contract. The notes and training for DCJA Consultancy courses should not be taken as a legal interpretation. DCJA Consultancy Trainers and its employees, trainers and consultants cannot accept responsibility for delegates’ actions, or those of other people reading the course notes, or interpreting the training in litigation or loss incurred as a result of relying on the training or the course notes. Clients are advised to seek qualified legal advice. DCJA Consultancy reserves the right to refuse any applicant at its sole discretion.

Additional Terms for Joint Courses with DCJA Consultancy & Isle of Wight Adventure Activities

Participation in adventurous activities involves some inherent risks and whilst Isle of Wight Adventure
Activities, their staff and agents are appropriately qualified, experienced and licensed by relevant bodies
and constantly work to limit the risk of these activities, participants must acknowledge these risks and
take steps to act in their own best interests.

All bookings are on the basis that the customer will, at all times, observe the safety regulations and
follow the safety instructions of Isle of Wight Adventure Activities and it’s staff.

Cancellation
Isle of Wight Adventure Activities does not cancel activities if  it is raining or if it is not sunny, only in event
of severe weather conditions that have an effect on safety will activities be postponed or cancelled.

In the rare instance that it may be necessary Isle of Wight Adventure Activities reserve the right to cancel
any activity where conditions prevent safe participation or where insufficient bookings or participant
cancellation make the course unworkable.

Photography
Isle of Wight Adventure Activities as a matter of  course take photos on all activities. These are photos are
used for advertising purposes and are posted to the Isle of Wight Adventure Activities website and Facebook
page to enable customers to download photos of themselves on their activity.

• All photos are taken on Isle of Wight Adventure Activities cameras and are downloaded at the end of
the day to a central server.
• The photos file on the server is available for inspection at any time by anyone with a genuine request
to inspect it.
• No photos of customers will every be allowed to pass to any other party.
• No photos will ever included names of customers or will there be any way of identifying individuals
within a group.
• We adhere strictly to the guidance laid out by SportsCoachUK at all times.

If you have any concerns or do not wish to be included in any photos please make it clear to your activity
leader before activity commencement.

Unruly Behaviour
No person should be under the influence of alcohol before or during the activities. If a person is found to be
under the influence of alcohol it will be the instructor’s discretion whether this person will be able to take part
in the activity. No monies will be refunded if the person does not take part.

Personal Property
The offer by Isle of Wight Adventure Activities to look after property does not guarantee it’s security and no
responsibility will be taken for loss or damage. Property belonging to the customer is at all times the responsibility of the customer.
